About the Product Manager Position

We are hiring our first Product Manager to join the Stairwell team. As a Product Manager at Stairwell, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next product innovation to working directly with designers and engineers to implementing features. You will bring your in-depth knowledge of the security landscape and use your start-up mindset to produce intuitive, intelligent and elegantly simple features for our clients.

Product Manager Responsibilities

    • Be an advocate for Stairwell’s products and services to our customers
    • Engage customers and develop relationships for product evangelism and requirements gathering
    • Incorporate data, security research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
    • Build a great team environment in partnership with engineers and other cross-functional colleagues.
    • Understand Stairwell’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized as the best in the industry.

    Product Manager Qualifications

    • Stairwell doesn't believe a college degree is a requirement for any role. We embrace all people, who are able to perform at the highest levels of their field, regardless of how they obtained their education.
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience with direct experience delivering delivering innovative solutions related to areas such as machine learning, heuristics, behavioral analysis, and script inspection
    • Familiarity with network and/or host security with a background in malware analysis
    • Demonstrated success in launching SaaS software features and products
      • Strong knowledge of high-availability, scaling and performance of distributed systems
      • Proven track record of executing on a long-term vision in a predictable manner
